(Matthew 28:18-20) We have Sunday messages with real talk. All experiences have a family atmosphere. Spiritual food is our priority, but we like to eat too! We enjoy a good laugh together. Service is close to our hearts. We honor our seniors. We encourage our youth. We're not perfect, but we strive to do better every day. We love our community. We believe in outreach. | Did you know? This is the first “First Baptist” church in the area? You’ll sometimes hear us call it “The REAL First Baptist”! Through God’s blessing and the faithful work of members past and present, our church family has grown and served the Lord for over 150 years. Organized in 1868, we’ve had a presence on Apple Street in Burlington, NC since the 1930’s. We are thankful to have not only a strong history, but an exciting present and promising future. With a growing number of ministries, our congregation works together to encourage the spiritual growth of all our members and guests, from the young to the young at heart. We are actively engaged in community-focused outreach and service to support the needs of our local community in Burlington and beyond. | |
