Through intentional discipleship, meaningful relationships, and practical training, we empower youth to embark on a transformative journey of faith, discovering their unique gifts and purpose in God's kingdom. Together, we strive to cultivate a generation of compassionate leaders who impact their communities with grace, integrity, and unwavering faith.

What is the youth ministry at First Baptist Church?
The youth ministry at First Baptist Church is a vibrant community dedicated to nurturing the spiritual growth, character development, and leadership skills of young individuals. Through engaging programming, mentorship, and service opportunities, we strive to equip youth to live out their faith authentically and make a positive impact in their communities.


What age group does the youth ministry serve?
Our youth ministry serves ALL children typically ranging from elementary school, middle school to high school age, approximately to 18 years old.


What activities and programs are available for youth?
We offer a variety of activities and programs designed to meet the spiritual, social, and emotional needs of youth. These include weekly gatherings for worship, prayer, and Bible study, as well as small group discussions, service projects, retreats, and special events throughout the year.


Who leads the youth ministry?
Our youth ministry is led by Minister Aniya L. Bradsher, and a team of dedicated staff members and volunteers who are passionate about supporting and guiding young individuals in their faith journey. Our leaders are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment where youth can grow and thrive.


How can my child get involved in the youth ministry?
Getting involved is easy! Simply encourage your child to attend Sunday School and Bible Study. Also there are opportunities to participate in our events and activities. We also welcome parents to volunteer and support our ministry in various capacities.


Is the youth ministry affiliated with any specific denomination?
Yes, First Baptist Church is affiliated with the Baptist tradition. However, our youth ministry welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and denominations. We prioritize creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels accepted and valued.


How can parents stay informed about upcoming events and activities?
We communicate regularly with parents through text, email, social media, robo calls, and our church website. Additionally, we provide printed calendars and newsletters outlining upcoming events and important information. Parents are encouraged to stay connected and reach out to our staff with any questions or concerns.


Is there space for younger children? (Infants-5 year olds)
Yes, we offer age-appropriate programming for children through our children's ministry. We invite parents to explore our children's ministry offerings and get their younger children involved as well.
